Well I’m still aching from the Yellow Fever injection.  I don’t actually feel ill, just all my muscles ache.  It feels like I’ve done a couple of rounds in the boxing ring or something.  I can’t remember feeling like this the last time I had that innoculation, but that was when I was doing officer training and I was as fit as a whippet.  The evil RAF doctors told us that under no circumstances must we drink after having the jab – unless – we kept the injected arm moving.  So you can picture the scene in the bar that night with lots of officer cadets sitting around with one arm holding a glass and the other bending backwards and forwards like some sort of weird dance routine.  Can’t believe we fell for it!
